MONDAY AUGUSTA 26TH IS EQUIPMENT HAND OUT FOR GRADES 3-6.
5/6 GRADES ARE 5:30-6:30
3/4 GRADES ARE 6:30-7:30
OUR EQUIPMENT SHED IS LOCATED AT 6 OAK STREET. THE WHITE BUILDING BEHIND THE FIRE STATION NEAR THE RAILROAD TRACKS. WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT BLOCK THE FIRE STATION IN CAUSE THEIR IS AN EMERGENCY.
THE PROGRAM PROVIDES HELMETS, SHOULDER PADS, PRACTICE JERSEY, AND A GAME JERSEY. PLAYERS WILL NEED A MOUTH GUARD, BLACK PADDED PANTS, AND CLEATS.
Grades 3-6 Team Selection/Football Clinic
There will be a high school clinic and team selection on Thursday, August 22 from 6-8 for all players in grades 3-6. This will be held on the new high school football field. Your child will only need cleats and water for this night. Your child needs to be registered before they can participate in either of these. You can either register here on website or register that night.
Equipment hand out will be on Monday, August 26th. Equipment Shed is located at 6 Oak Street in Oakland. It is the white building behind the fire station near railroad tracks. The following times are allotted for your child’s grade:
Grades 5-6 5:30-6:30
Grades 3-4 6:30-7:30
If your child is in grades K-2, you will receive more info for your season once school starts. Their season will starts once school is back in session.
2019 Early Season Registration
2019 Early Season Registration will begin June 10th and go until July 10th. Register online using PayPal and receive a discount during this time. After July 10th the prices will return to normal registration fees. Be on the look out for a flier to come home with your child.
K-2 Photos
Picture Day for Grades K-2 will be held on Saturday September 22nd. We will start at 9:00am at the he Messalonskee Middle School football field. Practice and games will follow.
HOMECOMING 2018
Homecoming Week
The homecoming game for the high school this year will be on Friday September 14th. The Messalonskee Eagles will take on the Brunswick Dragons with a kick off of 7:00pm at COLBY COLLEGE FOOTBALL FIELD. Below is the schedule of events for the parade and the game. Let’s show our Eagle Pride!!
Monday September 10 will be the homecoming parade. The parade will start at 6pm. We will meet in the student parking lot at the high school to line up by 5:30. Please listen closely to the coach and/or team mom for more information closer to the date. In the past teams have put together their own floats and they might want you there early to help decorate. The players are to wear their game jerseys the night of the parade. We are not allowed to throw candy due to issues in the past. The high school has asked the program to make sure this doesn’t happen. You will pick up your child on the Messalonskee Middle school football field. Please be there to pick up your child on time and please DO NOT remove your child during the parade. PLEASE do not remove someone’s else child without prior permission given to a coach. We will not release any child with someone other than the parent without prior consent. We only ask this so we may keep your child safe at all times.
Friday September 14: Homecoming Game against Brunswick. Youth players need to wear their game jerseys to the game. They will get in free to the game as long as they have their jersey on. At halftime each team will be called out onto the field for recognition with their coach. After halftime the players are free to leave.
